The predecessor of the company is the Constructional Team of the Engineering Foundation Construction & Maintenance Section of the Yiwu Road Transport Bureau established in June 1980. In June 1990, after approved by Yiwu Municipal Government, the Constructional Team is separated from the Foundation Construction & Maintenance Section to establish Yiwu Traffic Constructional Team and to obtain the independent legal person qualification, and it belongs to the town-collective enterprise in Yiwu city. In June 1992, Yiwu traffic constructional force was renamed Yiwu Traffic Engineering Construction Company. In August 1999, the enterprise implemented the restructuring of limited liability company and renamed Yiwu Traffic Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. In August 2002, the company was mergered by a state holding enterprise in Yiwu city -Zhejiang Hengfeng Group Co., Ltd. and it was renamed Yiwu Hengfeng Road & Bridge Co. Ltd. In January 2004, the enterprise became the member enterprise of China •Cheng Long Group, and now, the registered capital of the enterprise is 300 million Chinese Yuan. And now, the company has first level general contractor for highway engineering, first level specialized contractor for highway pavement engineering, first level specialized contractor for highway subgrade engineering, third level general contractor for municipal public engineering and other multiple qualifications, and it is mainly engaged in the construction of road, bridge, tunnel, municipal utility and other projects.  

        Since its establishment, the company has been always the main force of highway engineering construction in Yiwu city, and successively undertaken the construction of the most national or provincial trunk highways, a batch of high-grade highways, bridges, tunnels in own province, Sichuan province, Anhui province and other province as well as province-city major projects. And furthermore, the company has created multiple high-quality projects awarding "Shuanglong Cup" in Jinhua city and "Yongjiang Cup" in Ningbo city, and provincial-municipal high quality projects. The company further provides assistance in the construction of several bridges, roads and municipal public engineering for the “5.12” post-earthquake reconstruction in Qingchuan county of Sichuan province, and obtains the Zhejiang province "Qingchuan Cup" high-quality project award for the assistance of post-quake restoration and reconstruction works in Qingchuan county.

        The company has successively awarded the Provincial Advanced Unit Public and Security Unit for the Comprehensive Treatment of Social Order, Civilized Unit In Jinhua City, Home of Model Worker, The Top-100 Enterprises in Yiwu City and the Most Competitive Enterprise.
